Together TakeMeHome is a national program that offers free HIV self-tests by mail.
People age 17 or older living in the US (including Puerto Rico) can order up to two free HIV self-tests every 90 days.
Get a test for yourself and share one with a friend or partner.
Ordering tests is quick and easy at https://together.takemehome.org/. This site is available in English & Spanish.
Delivery of tests is fast, free, and discreet (we know because we already tried it here at the clinic).
Besides ordering (and re-ordering) home tests, the TakeMeHome website also offers people easy-to-read information about:
- How to use their free HIV self-test kit
- After-test support for understanding results
- Frequently Asked Questions
- Resources and support for HIV, testing, STIs, PrEP, condoms, drug use, & pregnancy
If you are feeling scared or anxious about your HIV status, contact Crisis Text Line at 741741 or visit CrisisTextLine.org.
CDC supports this program in partnership with other organizations.
