Konza Prairie Community Health Center is a community-based medical, dental, and behavioral health provider dedicated to providing patient-centered, integrated care for all people, regardless of income, insurance status, or ability to pay.

Konza welcomes patients with compassion and extra care that reaches beyond traditional clinic services with an on-site food & hygiene pantry and a patient resource coordinator to connect people with housing, transportation, employment, and much more.

Our History

1995 – Konza Prairie Community Health Center opened in Junction City with 2 employees

2000 – Moved to larger (current) Junction City location

2009 – Opened Konza Dental clinic in Manhattan at Riley County Health Department

2014 – Added Medical services in Manhattan clinic

2015 – Full renovation and addition of pharmacy in Junction City clinic

2019 – Added Behavioral Health services in Manhattan clinic 

2023 – Added medical clinic in Chapman; Now more than 125 staff in 3 locations

2024 – Renovated Junction City clinic to add Konza Closet & Food Pantry; Relocated Manhattan clinic to increase provider capacity, extend clinic hours, and add in-house pharmacy

Konza Prairie Community Health Center is a locally owned, private, not-for-profit, Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) – one of nearly 1,400 health centers nationwide that are partially funded by the United States Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).
