Masking and self-testing continue to be critical public health tools for preventing the spread of COVID-19. Persons who have a condition or are taking medications that weaken their immune system should continue to take all precautions to protect against COVID-19.
At-home tests for COVID-19 give rapid results and can be taken anywhere, regardless of your vaccination status or whether or not you have symptoms.
Check here for more information on self-testing at home or anywhere [link to https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/testing/self-testing.html ]
When worn properly, a well-fitting N95 mask offers a higher level of protection than cloth or medical masks. For information on fitting and wearing your N95 mask, visit https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prevent-getting-sick/use-n95-respirator.html.
This supply of N95 masks and COVID-19 tests is provided by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to ensure our nation’s underserved communities and those disproportionately affected by COVID-19 have equitable access to protective wear needed to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and other airborne diseases.
