What We Offer

A quick (15-30 seconds) visual-only look for obvious problems. The dental hygienist will note if the student could benefit from preventive care such as sealants and/or cleaning.

An ECP III dental hygienist is able to provide the following services at school, with parental consent:

  • Cleaning
  • Sealants
  • Silver diamine fluoride
  • Temporary fillings
  • Extraction of very loose baby teeth
  • Fluoride application

How Does It Work?

Print, complete, and return the registration form to your child’s school nurse by the scheduled screening date.

  • Fluoride varnish is applied the day of screening.
  • Other services are completed at a later date.
  • If the student has dental insurance – we will bill insurance for services provided. If a claim is denied, there is no fee for services.
  • If the student does not have dental insurance, there is no fee for services.
